Our Nature, Purpose, Power
CFC is a non-profit corporation and shall be organized exclusively for religious, charitable, and educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. CFC is a Religious Corporation formed for any lawful purpose or purposes under the Article 10 of the Religious Corporations Law of the State of New York. To fulfill the purposes, the members shall, from time to time, maintain service of worship in proclamation of God’s Word and administration of the Sacraments, accept the Bible as the rule for faith and practice, nurture its members through a basis of fellowship, prayers meeting, and Sunday school so as to grow in Faith and Hope and Love, promote evangelization and encourage and support missions. For accomplishing the mission of the church, CFC shall own, hold in trust, use, sell, convey, mortgage, lease, or otherwise acquire or dispose of such property (real or chattel) as may be needed.
